Cyberia

In 1998, five music lovers got together to form a gothic-rock band with a tinge of
80's style beats, and called themselves CYBERIA. Subsequently, the overall
style evolved into what today is known as industrial.
The following two years saw the band playing live in a number of rock and
gothic events together with other local bands such as Sceptocrypt, Achiral and
Norm Rejection. At the time, the vocal style was reminiscent of doom-death metal
bands, but at the end of the year 2000, this changed when the lead singer left
the band.

Coincidentally, a yet unknown singer (even to himself), crashed at their garage
a couple of times and incidentally jammed with the band. Since Cyberia needed
a vocalist, and because mathematics is not an opinion, 4 plus 1 made 5 again.

This new line-up gave birth to a more interesting combination due to the
diversity of the musicians' musical background and styles. Just imagine this:

Songs had to be revisited to remodel the new vocal lines, lyrics and style. In
the process the band also invested in some equipment to start some home
recording. They found that this helped them to determine their strong and weak
points, leading to a more mature quality of music. Although CYBERIA has not
performed live with the new line-up yet, they have been interviewed and featured on a couple of local TV shows.

Currently CYBERIA's recording their first homemade full length debut release, which seems to be striking a completely different vein of music than what the band have so far performed live.

Watch it...CYBERIA's back!
