What is Bisoul all about?
BISOUL PROMOTIONS are event organisers from the island of Malta in the heart of the Mediterranean. Our main focus is to present alternative events with a twist from the local norm, crushing accepted barriers in a fight against the mainstream through encouraging the basic initial move of bringing different alternative people together. While music ranks high on our agenda, it is not the be all end all and hence it is an understatement to expect a non-stop party each time we present something, as any alternative idea off the norm may easily find its way at a Bisoul event. Sometimes intentioned to pump the adrenaline on the dancefloor, at others to just make one stop, observe and reflect, there is time for all as we see it... so if you got an idea for a future event, send in here!!!!

How may I contribute to keep Bisoul events coming?
Despite all the hard thought we put in to not repeating the same formula at each Bisoul event and thus keeping a balance in line with the public's varying likes and dislikes, as proven before, the basic vibe at any event always boils down to how strongly YOU attend, so kindly please do spread the word about a Bisoul event and our website each time we advertise an event. Thanks for understanding and effectively supporting this idea, as it is only your constant attendance that pushes us as organisers to deliver new events!

What is so cool about Bisoul's mailing list?
Besides the fact it is a spam-free list, why should you not help us promote these events in an easier way? Damn simple, just sending one mailshot to promote an event allows us more time on our hands to concentrate on more things that effect you directly e.g. contacting more sponsors to help us keep the entrance fee down for YOU!!! And not only, as our mailing list subscribers get insight news & other stuff (sometimes ticket discounts) from time to time.

So why do Bisoul events cost nearly double the entrance fee of local gigs despite the increased amounts of sponsors on each flyer?
Besides each event lasting more than double the time of a gig, the participants (usually not only just a live band), the decor, the lightning, the varying DJ sets, the availability of a queer one-stop underground market + other stuff that make up an event all pile up to that bastard word we hate as much as most of you, that is "bills"!!! Hence why each event strongly depends on sponsor support, and while some of them contribute financially (each time according to how much you help them do well at a previous event), most of them only offer free or discounted services so we may use to offer YOU a better vibe throughout the event. So thanks to all who put themselves in our shoes, and hence understand and support our efforts to continue to improve our standards of entertainment with a dark twist!!!

But how may I afford paying a higher entrance fee when I am still a student?
There is a saying that goes "where there is a will there is a way"! So is it at all necessary for us to suggest that just for one week before a Bisoul event (not a big demand judging on the frequency of our events), one may prepare some lunch at home and save money off junk food? Or one spends less gossip time on the mobile phone? Or whatever the measure that helps one save to afford the entrance! Without wanting to come across as old farts, please do remember we were students too, and when we wanted to buy expensive musical instruments (by our standards of then) or whatever, we did save up. So come on, less drama please and come over to indulge in extravagance and debauchery at our events. Obviously write us anytime for links to events around the world featuring what we produce yet at a higher price, or just a party with 1-3 DJs priced at 10 Euros, for which amount Bisoul offers much more!!!

Have Bisoul ever thought that changing venues for each event would be cool?
This is a double-edged dagger! While it is cool to change venue for each event, on the other hand one must admit that all the castles and medieval places, or industrial abandoned factories that in nature fit our concept more, offer a fair amount of disadvantages. From being placed in residential area centres (event would have to finish by 11pm) to being in areas unreachable by public transport (and most of our crowd do not have personal transport), from not having an inhouse sound system/projector screen to sometimes no electric current at all (more expenses for the organisers resulting in higher entrance fee), from places not having a website to indicate their whereabouts to patrons not having regular email access, etc etc etc. That said, we are not saying we will not change venues, however when not, rest assured Bisoul considers all pros and cons and as proven tries to change modern club decor for events held at venues that do not befit our dark aura. We trust and thank our patrons for appreciating these efforts.
On the other hand, a certain consistency is healthy. Overseas - in London, Berlin, Amsterdam, New York, Sydney et al - there are clubs where visiting tourists and actual residents return to the same old black niche that hosts our subculture's sounds week after week, month after month, year after year.

Why should I read the text on the website?
The flyer being the icing on the cake of all that happens at our events, the full details are not the chat at your fave weekend pub or your fave weekly mirc channel, but here at this very website. It is hence very advisable for people to check out our site map to familiarise themselves with www.bisoulpromotions.tk, so each time we put an event on, you would know where to get the actual info first hand. Besides, you could always write us an email to clarify any matters you would want to.....

Ever wondered how much Bisoul enjoys your regular attendance at its events?
As much as we dislike saying it, our own subculture size is dictated to us by being a small detached island. Hence, despite how much we put into organising these events, their success (and continuation) is only measured by the vibe each one of you brings in when you attend.
