To Burn/ Not to Burn the Witch?
A Karr Krow Spooky Magic Theatre meets Industrial and Medieval Rock Opera to be held during GILDA April 16th at around 1am!!!!

1366 the village of Twinbridge is taken over by darkness. Perplexing happenings run rampant in the lives of the commoners of the time. Follow the tale of the archaic books as narrated by storyteller Trazchel, as innocents are put on trial and burned at the stake. Experience the thrill of the Medieval, front row, as blood is shed and sword wielders put their lives in jeopardy to shield the chastity of virgins. Be transported into the deepest dungeons, where torture devices of the era will take over the stage and a gruesome event from history books will be recreated. Half way along the event, follow the adventures of Karr Krow, transported back in time, as he puts all at stake in a dangerous game of chance with the hangman. Will he make it to the end? Only fate shall tell.

Storytelling, dance sequences, visual special effects, clash of ancient weaponry, chants and incantations will be the mainstay of this unique portrayal of this epoch. As wise men ponder whether to burn or not to burn the witch, and villagers rise in riots, Dr. Joseph Ignace' device will put an end to all dilemmas, as the earth shuttering riddle of the village of Twinbridge is set ablaze.

Quered a bit further, Krow reveals --- a culprit will be found, whether it is to be or not, stay or not, be burned or not…… is for all of you attending GILDA to see, front row as blood is shed, swords are wielded and virgins are…. Well let us stop there, just be there, I want to keep my surprises as surprises! But they shall be good ones, rest assured the public shall be in for a couple of treats!!!

Introduction

For the past years Karr Krow has been producing live stage representations akin Horror movies with Gothic scenarios. The Man from the Unknown merges the key elements of drama, illusion, visual special effects and dangerous stunts into one unique blend. His stunts with fire, chains, knives and spikes have garnered him the nickname of "DareDevil of the Impossible". In his alternative theatre work Karr Krow and his group of dream weavers explore a world of real-life emotions; Stories of fear, desire, grief, sorrow and anger.

Karr Krow, the Character

Born out of nature's need to balance the disturbances in today's world, Karr Krow is half good, half something else. As he walks the night in pain, his almost supernatural encounters with mystical characters from a past he cannot envisage anymore, give rise to a battle of emotions.

Emotions that hurt. Emotions that turned him into KROW, dare-devil of the impossible!!!

In this stage representation of the world of Krow, the audience is invited to follow his footsteps, and explore his world of feelings; a domain that exists only on stage and in the darkest of fantasies.

The Shows

During the past years, 3 different acts have been developed and produced for the local market.

HeartAche, is a new concept in stage theatrics. The show takes the whole audience onto a turbulent trip into a world of dark fantasy and illusion. Mystical masks, fire and chains are woven together in a spectacle of visuals that stir emotions, as Karr Krow lives his passion for seduction, fear and impossible love in a fantastic world where no evil nor good exists...

xokROK is a stage representation full of doom drama, chilling thrills and dark suspense. Experience though thugs being punished with blazing torches, feline women appearing out of the shadows, leather-clad Godivas creeping back to life and solid steel spikes passing right through bodies, thanks to the cutting edge illusions and special effects devised for the show.

In what probably can be described as the most unique version of The Wizard of OddZ, the fearful TinMan, the macabre ScareKrow and the terrorising Lioness take over the stage, as a twisted tale unfolds. As Karr Krow walks the night in pain, he is unknowingly catapulted in the post-apocalyptic year of 2099. Devastated wastelands and fear rule the future city known as "OddZ". The people of tomorrow name him "The Wizard". A true Daredevil of the Impossible, Karr Krow is once again confronted by his eternal foes, grief, sorrow and anger, and goes on to relive the adventure of "The Wizard of OddZ".

Remixed commercial Gothic & Rock music and original soundtracks composed exclusively for these shows, create the background to the realistic visual effects and fast paced action. Yet this Saturday at GILDA is quite an exception -- I have merged medieval folk music to the most futuristic industrial & EBM tunes! states Karr Krow, so follow him and the villians of Twinsbridge into the oblivious dungeon world of To Burn/ Not Burn the Witch?
