Poetry

Poetry is indeed something divine,.....and with those words in mind, Bisoul was intrigued to present a collection of similar verse. Yet, since our art nights have a dark nature, it just takes one quick glance at the following poems to observe that although differing in personalities, cultures and eras, all authors are yet bound by one common factor --- either that they wrote through morose escapisms of their self, or that they wanted to inflict fear, sadness, or simply philosophical questions that brings one's dark side of the self to the forefront. Hence why they easily made their way into Oh Sweet Verse, Oh Sweet Melody, held during our Friday Fragments in 1998.

Subsequently and from time to time, we included other contributions in further events, each time taking a new approach at how to present the undying grace of verse! This developed as a sought after niche within the local music scene through which industrial musicians played sweeter guitar music, black metal artists played folk, avantgarde musos had a go at horror classic music, webmasters worked for the big screen, couples worked as pairs, etc ..... in other words a platform for undiscovered dark talent brought to the stage!!!!
