The Maltese launch of the most elite cyber wear. Shopping outlets set up to be a museum by day as much as a club when the sun sets, and found in the heart of all major cities as London, Sao Paolo, New York, Basil, Ibiza and Amsterdam.

Dear readers, as you saw from our Bisoul Babe upload this week, it is all about Cat Woman. But more about this feline as she talks to us about Xen Clothing and the related The End Summer's Wet Dream which her team of femme fatales are going to present at cOnCuSsion at Red Square on Sept 20.

So first off how are you Cat Woman? Can you tell us a bit about yourself and what you do?

I'm 36 and I love rock, metal and industrial, not just the music but the clothing too. For more details the Bisoul Babe contest says it all as I am featured there. Meanwhile, I also co-own and co-run Xen with Adrian. We opened 2 years ago selling hippy clothes/ arts & crafts, but have been steadily moving back towards our heavier roots of metal and gothic paraphernalia.

I am wondering what inspired this move from the mecca of fashion Camden Town in London to the friendly yet not as artsy Malta.

I was bored with England...its not all fun fun fun...it's fuckin expensive to live there and it rains too much. Besides that, the cats roaming around everywhere got on my nerves, it is pussy everywhere there so that was becoming stiff competition, as Cat Woman loves to be the centre of attention :P But seriously, I love to travel. I've been in and around London for many years and went to my first live gig in '79...that's a long time ago and we all need change!

I am to assume nevertheless that your links to Camden Town are by now inbred in you and effect the way you select the lines of fashion you provide at your shop in Bay Street right?

I've always loved the eclectic mix of Camden. In fact, yes I think it got a hold of me to an extent that one will be hard pushed to find the clothes we sell at Xen anywhere other than Camden, or the internet.

So let us now talk about the fashion show. Termed A Endsummer's Wet Dream just to erect the actual bones of good ole Shakespeare that need a shaking (get the pun in the name all ye literature posse), what can you tell us of the line of clothing that shall be displayed, the choice of music, and anything about the models involved in your expo.

I don't want to give too much away, but the music will be hard and heavy, while the clothes will be cool, sexy and original, yet very wearable. We'll give you a taste of everything from street wear, cyber punk to gothic vamp, just be there to feast your eyes on our new range, welcoming the world elite CYBERDOG to Malta exclusively at XEN and at cOnCuSsion. So there you go Cat Woman has chased Cyber Dog, but I hope now that not too many a canine lust shall be chasing my group of kitties at your party :P (Ed - that is to be seen, I cannot control my crowd hehe)

I am also of the understanding that you got some gothic clothing (mostly for females) to promote right?

It is not only for females although that is what we shall promote at cOnCusSion. Just a look at www.cyberdog.net and one will see that the line is also for males, and children too surprisingly -- long live the KinderGoths for they are our future generation of industrial inducing menace :)

While at it, may you tell us anything of any past Xen fashion shows, or contributions in which you participated.

Most of our previous shows have been for local charities . They were fun to do, but trying to tone it down for the Maltese masses was hard to do!!! (Ed - oh if I understand you)

And sorry to ask on behalf of the wanna-be machos cruising our website instead of going out to hunt women, but would you have some photos of any models from any previous Xen fashion show just so they know what the real world at conCusSioN on Sept 20 at Red Square would have to offer. Again on their behalf, I assume they would love me more had you to send in the pics of the singles in your team :P
