What do Students say?
“Enthusiasm (think Jack Black from School of Rock) balanced with discipline & knowledge (think Mr Miyagi from Karate Kid).”
“We couldn’t be happier with the bass guitar lessons our child has been receiving. These lessons strike a perfect balance of structure, creativity and fun. What really stands out is how well the lessons are adapted to suit our child’s pace and interests.”
“Serious School of Rock vibes 😄 and I’m really happy with the classes. They’re a lot of fun, he’s super nice and incredibly knowledgeable, and you can tell he genuinely enjoys teaching. Makes learning guitar feel easy and enjoyable.”
“He’s an amazing teacher and musician! I’ve learned so much – not just in guitar skills, but music theory and ear training too – in a fun and interesting way.”
“Malcolm has massively helped me with bass. He is very methodical with his teaching, and is very knowledgeable when it comes to music theory. He is stern (not strict) but this is a good thing. It motivates you to always try your best and to practise to become a better bassist. Just because he’s stern doesn’t mean he isn’t sympathetic. If a topic or technique takes you longer to learn/ grasp he is there to support you and will tell you how to improve it.”
Should I play guitar/bass/ukulele? What guitar to start on – acoustic/classical/electric? At what age to start? How long it takes to become good? Should I learn alone, or in a group?
